According to the Internationalization Inquiry (2018), one in four Swedish students will have studied abroad by 2025. Despite the authorities' interest in more Swedes studying abroad, the number is not increasing, according to the report “How do we get one in four Swedish students to study abroad?” Fundraising.how finds that several indicators point to the need for increased collaboration between private foundations, business and government to achieve Sweden's goal of one in four students studying abroad.
